Description

  • Develop and execute the brand strategy with a focus on narrative development, storytelling, and copywriting excellence.
  • Lead creation of on-brand copy and creative for marketing campaigns, product launches, website, email, social media, and in-app experiences.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and growth marketing teams to ensure messaging and creative are cohesive and tailored to target audiences.
  • Champion the brand voice and maintain consistency and authenticity across all written communications and storytelling efforts.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of writers and brand designers, providing feedback and fostering creativity and innovation.
  • Analyze audience insights and campaign performance to refine messaging and storytelling approaches, and co-own awareness metrics with growth.
  • Identify and develop new storytelling opportunities, including partnerships, campaigns, and product narratives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, copywriting best practices, brand design, and emerging digital storytelling formats.
  • Maintain brand standards and guidelines to ensure all communications remain on brand.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a strong background leading copy and design for digital products or consumer tech.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating audience-focused content.
  • Proven experience developing and executing brand strategy, including brand narratives and messaging strategies across multiple channels.
  • Inspirational, motivational leadership experience with a people-centric approach and a track record of mentoring teams in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing strategies, content strategy, and family-, parent-, and kid-focused audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to inform storytelling and messaging decisions.
  • Experience marketing multiple products within a brand and contributing to integrated campaigns across digital, social media, film/video production, CRM, OOH, and new media.
