Description

  • Transform animatics and storyboards into final video sequences using AI video models and motion-graphics techniques.
  • Generate, adapt, and integrate visual assets with live-action footage or animations.
  • Explore and apply AI tools to improve video quality, automate repetitive tasks, and increase creative efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Animation Lead, illustrators, and content development teams to align visuals with educational goals and brand standards.
  • Ensure all AI-generated outputs meet quality, accuracy, and learning-objective standards.
  • Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and production workflow documentation.
  • Review feedback from team members and stakeholders and iterate quickly on revisions.
  • Contribute ideas to improve production processes through creative and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or video production.
  • Practical experience in video editing and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI video tools.
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Understanding of video storytelling fundamentals, including narrative flow and audience engagement.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain organized file structures.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and adopt emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools for animation, image generation, video editing, or workflow optimization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.
  • Interest in educational, scientific, or technical storytelling is preferred.
  • Portfolio and/or showreel demonstrating motion graphics, editing, and compositing expertise.
  • Brief cover letter explaining interest in JoVE and fit for the role.
