Description

  • Own the demand planning process and rolling forecasts across markets, brands, categories, and SKUs.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month demand plan with detailed near-term planning.
  • Translate sales, POS, inventory, pricing, promotions, seasonality, launches, and market trends into demand forecasts.
  • Develop forecasting methodologies based on product demand characteristics, lifecycle, market maturity, and available data.
  • Lead demand review meetings and resolve gaps among commercial, statistical, and operating forecasts.
  • Identify demand changes and communicate associated risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Manage forecasts for new products, including launch curves, cannibalization, and ramp-up or ramp-down plans.
  • Identify demand and supply gaps and quantify potential revenue, service, and inventory impacts.
  • Establish planning approaches for promotions, price changes, market expansions, and product discontinuations.
  • Collaborate with supply planners to hand off demand plans and use AI to improve planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, S&OP, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing forecasts across multiple products, locations, markets, or channels.
  • Experience with forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, and S&OP/IBP processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP, planning, and business intelligence systems.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to turn data into business decisions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with incomplete or changing information.
  • Experience in cannabis, CPG, consumer products, retail, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Comfort using AI; must be at least 21 years old and able to pass background checks and comply with applicable industry regulations.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $110,000–$130,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
  • Potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on organizational and individual performance.
  • Remote position with Eastern or Central Time business hours.
