Description

  • Build, train, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines in production.
  • Design and improve LLM-powered applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • Build and iterate on agentic AI systems to automate complex workflows.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Design data visualizations and dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and resolve data and model issues, including drift and pipeline inefficiencies.
  • Improve model evaluation, code quality, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.
  • Explore emerging AI/ML technologies and integrate new tooling and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer with production-grade model delivery experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and the core data science stack, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, FastAPI, and PyDantic.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience building and deploying ML models and APIs, including model serving and monitoring.

  • Experience with large language models and AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud services, including cloud-based ML workflows and managed AI services (preferred).
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and bringing an entrepreneurial mindset (preferred).
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.
  • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state where Great Gray is registered as an employer.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $90,000 to $120,000.
