Description

  • Provide technical assistance to client IT staff and Grant Street Group employees across the U.S.
  • Manage hardware deployed at client locations, including payment terminals, routers, servers, network devices, and kiosks.
  • Improve the client experience with Grant Street Group products through network optimization guidance and browser or other technology assistance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client IT staff to consult on hardware, software, and security.
  • Support employees with laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, and applications.
  • Support annual client conferences.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and system administrators.
  • Interact with customers and colleagues in person, by chat, through help tickets, email, and phone.
  • Monitor client equipment during a temporary on-call rotation one out of every four weeks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional IT experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows applications and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of workstation hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless technologies.
  • General comprehension of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with payment terminals, OpenVPN, Juniper SRX firewalls, G-Suite, Linux, Salesforce, JIRA/Confluence, Office 365, or virtualization is a plus.
  • Must be a US-based applicant located in California.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% to client locations.
