Description

  • Design, build, and ship iOS features, experiments, and products for millions of users.
  • Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Manage your task pipeline and communicate progress throughout the task life cycle.
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to create compelling user experiences.
  • Participate in product reviews and team meetings and provide technical insight.
  • Help scope, estimate, and prioritize work across competing needs.
  • Review code, design documents, product specs, and mocks, and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to team strategy and participate actively in planning future work.
  • Improve developer workflows by recommending best practices and standards.
  • Mentor other engineers and help grow their technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on software development experience building user-facing native iOS applications at scale using Swift.
  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience working on highly complex applications serving millions of users.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical professional experience.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, building new things, and handling failure.
  • Additional knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and maintainable API design is a plus.
