Description

  • Develop the product vision and roadmap for the performance testing domain.
  • Gather and synthesize customer needs, requirements, and pain points into product direction.
  • Represent user feedback to Engineering and support prioritization decisions with evidence.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable go-to-market efforts through presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
  • Make decisions on go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
  • Define how performance test results connect with Grafana Cloud metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Work across R&D to integrate Performance Testing with the broader Grafana Cloud suite and related products.
  • Ensure the product supports multiple performance testing modalities, including protocol, browser, and mobile.
  • Act as the primary expert and advocate for the product area with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication across Engineering, Design, UX, and GTM teams in a globally distributed remote environment.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product environment.
  • Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
  • Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
  • Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build well-designed products and features in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies is preferred.
  • Experience with observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers, is preferred.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure concepts such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools is preferred.
