Description

  • Deliver new functionality with the team and iterate based on results.
  • Contribute to and review design documents for upcoming features.
  • Participate in open-source projects beyond the immediate team scope.
  • Influence the product roadmap and shape personal career objectives.
  • Take part in on-call rotations and own the services you run.
  • Mentor and support other team members through design discussions and collaboration.
  • Share ideas and knowledge across diverse technical perspectives.
  • Work closely with other squads across the Grafana Division.

Requirements

  • Solid backend development experience, ideally with Go.
  • Good understanding of storage solutions, especially relational databases such as MySQL, SQLite, and Postgres.
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering through brainstorming to shipping.
  • Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative, asynchronous environment.
  • Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, and iterate based on data and feedback.
  • Experience with open-source software or commercial open-source companies is a plus.
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or developer efficiency workstreams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with on-call work and operations/SRE tasks is a plus.

  • Base compensation range in Sweden: SEK 775,000 - SEK 969,000.
