Description

  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS across multiple technical domains.
  • Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements and follow modern software design principles.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and implement clean, reusable solutions across services.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of core platform services and APIs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, and story grooming.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and drive continuous code quality improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security to support high-quality software delivery.
  • Mentor peers and junior engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Use AI-based development tools to build high-quality, high-performance AdTech products.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of backend software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance, high-availability microservices.
  • 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and optimized SQL queries.
  • 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python 3 with expert-level knowledge required; a coding assessment will be administered.
  • Experience with observability tools and performance monitoring platforms such as New Relic and Sentry (preferred).
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or other cloud-native search technologies (preferred).
  • Background in containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, data encryption, hashing, and secret management (preferred).
  • Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, and DV360 (preferred).
  • Awareness of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and PHI (preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product, DevOps, and Security.
  • Self-motivation, strong ambition, and interest in directly impacting business results.
  • Resourcefulness, multitasking ability, creative problem-solving skills, resiliency, and sound business judgment.
  • Passion for relationship building and developing trusted partnerships.
