Description

  • Own, operate, and maintain the architecture and infrastructure of the data stack, including BigQuery, dbt, and Fivetran.
  • Ensure data is accurate, accessible, and available to support stakeholders across the business.
  • Partner with GTM, Self-Serve, Marketing, Finance, BizApps, and other teams to understand their data needs and identify analytics improvements.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on the data pipeline, data tools, and the meaning of the organization’s data.
  • Create data processes and standard operating procedures that leverage AI agent skills and rules.
  • Define and maintain best practices for version control, documentation, testing, and other data-related workflows.
  • Support analysts and other stakeholders by enabling them to use data through documentation, training, and cataloging.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical peers to build a flexible, scalable data stack that supports business growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience contributing to data modeling.
  • Experience with dbt.
  • Experience working with business users, analysts, and data engineers across a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining data quality tests and logic tests, including unit tests.
  • A track record of enabling stakeholders to use data through documentation, training, and cataloging.
  • Strong analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support employees globally.
  • Experience implementing best practices for analytics, dashboarding, documentation, and testing.
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment.
  • Understanding of coding agents and agentic coding practices and patterns.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the monitoring, observability, log aggregation, or APM market is preferred.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Inquisitive, empathetic, and willing to learn new technologies and responsibilities.
