Description

Design, build, and deliver medical-grade mobile applications and SDKs using Java and Kotlin.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and KMM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new capabilities and software releases.
Translate customer and market needs into efficient and secure mobile solutions.
Integrate mobile applications with a next-generation cloud-based platform.
Scope work, break down features into modules, and estimate effort with program management.
Present and demonstrate concepts and solutions to customers, partners, and leadership.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education plus experience.
4+ years of native Android development experience.
Proven experience developing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Experience developing solutions and platforms that leverage wireless communications and mobile application technologies.
Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with web services, cloud technologies, and APIs.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop POCs or prototypes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Strong communication skills and experience working with technical teams and management.
Experience with mobile app or cloud app software development tools.
Experience with Agile software development.
Experience successfully launching products in FCC- and FDA-regulated industries (nice to have).
