Description

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and KMM.
Contribute to Android mobile application projects by building and delivering medical-grade mobile applications and SDKs.
Collaborate with technology and cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, test, and deploy new capabilities and features.
Work with senior developers to build the next generation of a cloud-based mobile application platform for future patient- and device-centric products.
Present simple design proposals to stakeholders and incorporate feedback with manager support.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies relevant to mobile application solutions.
Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
3+ years of native Android development experience.
Proven experience developing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Demonstrated proficiency in solutions and platforms that leverage wireless communications and mobile application technologies.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work collaboratively to develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and strong experience working in cross-functional technical teams.
Experience with mobile app or cloud app software development tools.
Experience with Agile software development (preferred).
Experience launching products in FCC- and FDA-regulated industries (preferred).
Prior development experience with RxJava, Realm, and Room (preferred).
