Description

  • Own system design and architecture decisions for features, services, and platform components.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, trade-offs, initiatives, and projects.
  • Contribute hands-on to critical and complex system components.
  • Drive code quality, scalability, reusability, extensibility, and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Review implementation approaches and support complex production incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Align technical roadmaps with Team Leads and other Tech Leads.
  • Provide effort estimates, support planning, and balance technical quality with delivery speed.
  • Mentor engineers, support Personal Development Plans, and promote knowledge sharing and documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience with Scala and Java.
  • Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in product-based or B2B environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong system design, architectural thinking, and software engineering best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability in cross-functional environments.
  • Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English plus Ukrainian or Russian.
  • iGaming domain experience is preferred.
