Description

  • Drive the transformation and standardization of accounting processes across key finance areas.
  • Build scalable operating models that support business growth and increasing complexity.
  • Define and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Design and optimize end-to-end accounting processes across revenue, accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, tax, and month-end close.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps, and implement improvements.
  • Support automation initiatives and reduce manual effort across the accounting function.
  • Ensure audit readiness through well-documented and controlled processes.
  • Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and workflows across the accounting team.
  • Support timely and accurate financial reporting and close activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team covering statutory and managerial accounting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, audit, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and core accounting processes.
  • Solid understanding of both statutory and management accounting.
  • Proven experience designing, optimizing, and documenting business processes.
  • Experience developing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and align stakeholders.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
  • Professional proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian.
  • Experience in consulting or a Big 4 environment (nice to have).
  • Background working in complex international or multi-entity organizations (nice to have).
  • Experience leading finance transformation or automation initiatives (nice to have).
  • Exposure to process excellence methodologies and operational improvement frameworks (nice to have).
