Description

  • Own client outcomes across the team’s portfolio, including strategic oversight of complex campaigns, budgets, and escalations.
  • Develop and optimize tailored paid search strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Lead pitches, audits, upsell efforts, and contract negotiations to grow revenue.
  • Coach and manage team members through weekly 1:1s, performance conversations, hiring, onboarding, and retention planning.
  • Own the department P&L, including revenue, headcount, tooling, and margin, and review financial performance with Finance.
  • Maintain operational standards through SOPs, QA, capacity planning, and leadership reporting.
  • Identify at-risk clients early and build recovery plans to reduce churn.
  • Bring new tools, trends, and data-backed recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Lead and support high-performing teams, including remote or offshore contributors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in paid search / SEM.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Agency experience is required.
  • Strong data-driven optimization skills.
  • Demonstrated track record in client retention, revenue growth, and escalation recovery.
  • Experience managing a team P&L and influencing profitability.
  • Proven leadership of high-performing teams, including remote or offshore contributors.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills for both executive-level presentations and coaching conversations.
  • Experience working with D2C brands and performance-driven marketing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience launching new initiatives inside a structured organization.
  • Success managing offshore talent across time zones.
