Description

  • Provide individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform.
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history.
  • Develop treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and presenting concerns.
  • Use evidence-based and trauma-informed therapy approaches, including CBT, DBT-informed skills, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when needed.
  • Assess safety concerns and follow required crisis protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients about appointments, treatment goals, and next steps.
  • Follow HIPAA requirements, state licensing rules, and ethical standards for telehealth counseling.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing.
  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred.
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions.
