Description

  • Conduct scheduled virtual counseling sessions with Maryland-based clients.
  • Evaluate client concerns, presenting symptoms, clinical history, and treatment needs.
  • Create individualized care plans with measurable goals.
  • Provide therapy using clinically appropriate interventions.
  • Document progress notes, updates, and treatment changes in a timely manner.
  • Identify clients who may need higher levels of care or additional resources.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and care team members.
  • Protect client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards.
  • Keep therapy sessions structured, client-centered, and goal-oriented.
  • Stay current with Maryland counseling laws, telehealth expectations, and ethical requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing.
  • Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations.
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms.
  • Strong documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical ethics, and state counseling regulations.
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions.
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency.
