Description

  • Integrate security practices such as SAST, DAST, SCA, secret management, and compliance checks into GitHub CI pipelines.
  • Build and manage infrastructure with Terraform, emphasizing least privilege, encryption, and auditing.
  • Strengthen security across Kubernetes clusters through RBAC, network policies, image scanning, and runtime threat detection.
  • Implement security automation and continuous monitoring for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and drift across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate with Development, Platform, SRE, Cloud Delivery Engineers, and Security teams to embed security-by-design throughout the SDLC.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response for cloud and container workloads.
  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps best practices and mentor team members.
  • Research and implement new security tools, policies, and automation to improve visibility and resilience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise with AWS services including IAM, VPC, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, KMS, and WAF.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes security, including RBAC, network segmentation, image scanning, and tools such as Falco or similar runtime security solutions.
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform, including modules, state management, and policy as code.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions with integrated vulnerability scanning and secret protection.
  • Solid knowledge of Cloudflare security services, including Zero Trust, WAF, DNS, Access, and API Gateway rules.
  • Familiarity with SSO and MFA solutions such as DUO SSO, OIDC flows, and federation via SAML.
  • Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of network security, TLS management, and logging and monitoring pipelines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional engineering and compliance teams.
  • Experience with policy-as-code frameworks such as OPA, Conftest, or Terraform Cloud Policies, preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of container security scanners such as Trivy, Aqua, Anchore, or Grype, preferred.
  • Exposure to SIEM or SOC integrations, preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Benchmarks, preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Terraform Associate, CISSP, or DevSecOps certifications, preferred.
