Description

  • Support the Network Deployment and Operations team by managing engineering practices for GFiber’s outside plant Fiber to the Home network.
  • Oversee the design and permitting process for single family units, multi-dwelling units, and single business units.
  • Coordinate with the outside plant network team on project engineering activities, progress reporting, financial reporting, invoice review, and change management.
  • Manage vendor production to ensure work follows required guidelines and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute network designs seamlessly.
  • Monitor and support network deployment activities for FTTH infrastructure.
  • Operate within a network environment that requires ongoing issue resolution and reliability-focused execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing scalable outside plant projects, FTTH projects, or outside plant engineering projects.
  • Experience with inside and outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure, engineering design, and construction.
  • Experience with GIS and/or ESRI platforms, including CAD or shapefile operations.
  • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
  • Experience managing and leading teams of more than 5 people (preferred).
  • Contract or vendor management experience, including defining scope of work and quality controls (preferred).
  • Prior experience with aerial and underground construction methods (preferred).
  • Capital budget management experience (preferred).
  • Experience interpreting fiber test results and auditing projects for compliance with scopes of work (preferred).
  • Prior experience with outside plant equipment and materials (preferred).

Benefits

  • US base salary range of $114,000 to $139,000.
  • Bonus eligibility.
