Description

  • Own the Platform domain as an internal product serving multiple product teams.
  • Define the platform strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Drive platform scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence.
  • Own custody infrastructure, including Fireblocks, Uphold, and similar providers.
  • Ensure secure asset storage, withdrawals, deposits, and fund movements.
  • Own KYC, Travel Rule, and compliance-related platform capabilities.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory readiness, including MiCA requirements.
  • Define and maintain platform SLA and uptime targets.
  • Establish incident management, monitoring, and operational excellence processes.
  • Lead a cross-functional platform team, mentor engineers and technical leads, and drive architectural decisions and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or core engineering teams.
  • Experience owning shared platform services used by multiple product teams.
  • Strong experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
  • Practical experience with custody platforms such as Fireblocks or similar solutions.
  • Deep understanding of KYC providers, Travel Rule, AML, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience defining and managing platform reliability, SLA, uptime, and incident management processes.
  • Strong Node.js background with the ability to review architecture and production code.
  • Experience building and scaling engineering organizations.
  • Experience owning platform budgets, roadmaps, and business priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with MiCA implementation (nice to have).
  • Experience in Bitcoin, crypto, or Web3 infrastructure (nice to have).
  • Experience implementing inner-source engineering practices (nice to have).
  • Experience leading platform migrations or large-scale architectural transformations (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Flutter architecture and mobile platform development (nice to have).
