Description

  • Develop and maintain the data and analytics architecture strategy, reference architecture, and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Conduct data capability assessments and create maturity improvement roadmaps.
  • Ensure data architecture complies with governance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement data security measures and secure access controls across the data platform.
  • Own the data platform architecture, with accountability for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design a service model architecture to streamline demand fulfilment and incident management.
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines using platform components and industry best practices.
  • Engage senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive data-led operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks that improve data architecture capabilities.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers, developers, and analysts, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of modernizing a data platform from the ground up.
  • Expertise in cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, Power BI, and DevOps.
  • Clear understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with data modelling, data lakes, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with performance management dashboards, complexity estimation frameworks, and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, including CXOs, data heads, and business heads.
  • TOGAF certification preferred, or equivalent experience in enterprise architecture methodologies.
  • Experience with automated code review mechanisms is implied by the role and may be beneficial.
