Description

  • Build robust and high-performance data processing services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka for timely ingestion and availability.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines from diverse sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support data-driven initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for data optimization and help improve platform efficiency.
  • Use AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics in line with security and performance best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize service performance by addressing bottlenecks.
  • Maintain data integrity, reliability, and availability through ETL processes and data quality checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, specifically Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience with Kafka, microservices architecture, and streaming solutions.
  • Proficiency with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) tools.
  • Consistent use of LLM and AI tools such as Claude throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing robust ETL processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with MySQL.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data processing technologies like Spark is preferred.
  • Experience with SingleStore is a plus.
