Description

  • Conduct end-to-end research to create and improve core-data algorithms.
  • Leverage generative AI tools for research, data analysis, and coding to accelerate insights.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in maritime data.
  • Write Python code to extract and analyze data from sources such as Postgres, MongoDB, SingleStore, and S3.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity by performing checks, identifying inconsistencies, and resolving issues.
  • Visualize findings and communicate actionable insights through data storytelling, technical papers, and logs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional domain and technical experts to solve research challenges and improve data processes.
  • Support and participate in the Data Analysts technical guild to help grow the analysts community.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis with deep proficiency in Python.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools and an AI-first approach to data research and analysis.
  • Extensive experience with statistical analysis in enterprise or research environments.
  • Experience querying databases and using Python data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Plotly, and Matplotlib.
  • Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana or Redash.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex research tasks with high autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to stakeholder communication.
  • Commitment to being a proactive team player working effectively with R&D peers and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience working with geospatial datasets is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with an Israeli company is a plus.
