Description

  • Serve as the analytical backbone for a portfolio of key grocery retail partners.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear answers and actionable strategies.
  • Build a trusted analytical foundation that enables proactive decision-making by business development teams and retail partners.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify root causes behind performance changes and emerging opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Development to create quarterly business reviews and sell-in business cases.
  • Develop or improve internal tools, frameworks, and narratives that help stakeholders move from raw data to clear direction.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on macro business, operational, customer, and category trends across assigned retailers.
  • Influence partner strategy through insights, storytelling, and commercially relevant analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative business strategy role such as consulting, banking, analytics, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency with SQL, including writing complex and efficient queries.
  • Experience using Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to work through ambiguous problems step by step and identify the key insight.
  • Polished communication skills with proven ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify problems, frame them, and drive toward solutions independently.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or grocery is preferred.
  • Experience building business cases or presenting to external partners or clients is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $153,000-$161,500 USD for CA, NY, CT, and NJ; $147,000-$155,000 USD for WA; $140,000-$148,000 USD for OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI; and $128,000-$135,000 USD for all other states.
