Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact and public face of GitLab for prospects and customers in the UK National Security and Public Safety sectors.
  • Lead enterprise sales across a diverse public sector portfolio.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies using the MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships across government and private sector organizations.
  • Drive platform adoption through centers of excellence and direct customer engagement.
  • Manage complex procurement processes across government and public sector frameworks.
  • Create sector-specific value propositions and business cases.
  • Build and execute a strategic territory plan across public sector segments.
  • Develop scalable prospecting, account development, and new logo acquisition strategies.
  • Drive revenue through strategic system integrators, service providers, and cloud partnerships.
  • Lead joint account planning and partner enablement programs.

Requirements

  • Proven UK public sector software sales experience, especially within National Security and Public Safety.
  • Deep understanding of public sector digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with government framework procurement.
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders in complex organizations.
  • Experience selling a DevSecOps platform or similar complex technology.
  • MEDDPICC methodology mastery and implementation experience.
  • Experience managing complex deals and closing large opportunities.
  • Experience building and scaling territories from the ground up.
  • Experience with partner orchestration and ecosystem management.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with territory management tools.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience with open source solutions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with complementary technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred.
