Description

  • Partner with customers to turn pre-sales plans into actionable business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on GitLab platform capabilities, best practices, and use cases.
  • Guide customers through adoption and future use of the platform.
  • Serve as the main liaison for customer questions, issues, and escalations across GitLab teams.
  • Own an assigned book of customers and drive adoption, retention, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Build Customer Success Plans with goals, KPIs, and milestones.
  • Stay current on GitLab releases and surface relevant feature opportunities.
  • Support onboarding activities for new and existing customers.
  • Coordinate account escalation management and recommend training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Git and common branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipelines.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or similar roles focused on increasing satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
  • Familiarity working with customers at the assigned segment size.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement in post-sales or professional services roles.
  • Fluent German.
  • Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company travel policy.
  • Alignment with GitLab values and willingness to work accordingly.
