Description

  • Own the overall applications architecture across the organization.
  • Define architectural standards, guidelines, and frameworks for multiple product teams.
  • Translate architectural vision into business impact and influence product and technology roadmaps.
  • Evaluate technology choices and architectural trade-offs with attention to cost, scalability, maintainability, and capacity.
  • Drive architectural decisions and manage risks, including early identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and IT Security teams to ensure operational, security, and quality alignment.
  • Facilitate alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders on architectural drivers and solution priorities.
  • Support implementation estimation and roadmap construction to bridge architecture and delivery planning.
  • Provide mentorship, technical expertise, and hands-on guidance to architects and development teams.
  • Own architecture documentation and governance practices, keeping them current and consistent without limiting team autonomy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Architect and 10+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and objectives.
  • Strong communication skills in Polish and English at minimum B2 level in a professional environment.
  • Experience in at least one development stack: .NET, PHP, Java, or Python.
  • Proven experience with a variety of database types, including relational, graph, columnar, and NoSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns and cross-system communication approaches.
  • Understanding of monolithic and microservices architectures, including trade-offs, migration paths, and readiness considerations.
  • Experience designing systems for both single-tenant and multi-tenant environments.
  • Experience guiding teams through architecture transitions such as monolith extraction or microservices consolidation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Very good communication and cooperation skills with an empathic personality.
  • Charisma and enthusiasm for technology, with the ability to inspire both junior and senior colleagues.
  • Hands-on experience in mentoring and coaching others.

  • Salary range of 25,000–30,000 PLN gross on an employment contract.
  • Salary range of 1,400–1,800 PLN MD/nett on a B2B contract.
