Description

  • Grow market share and increase adoption of Genetec products within the Mobility and Transit vertical.
  • Expand portfolio usage with existing customers by understanding their environment and long‑term goals and closing consumption gaps.
  • Develop and foster customer advocacy and references within the public safety/public administration communities.
  • Prospect and pursue new logo opportunities, identify new business opportunities, and influence buyers early in the buying cycle.
  • Promote Genetec in RFPs and support customers with grants program positioning when appropriate.
  • Drive vertical‑specific product needs by gathering customer feedback and collaborating regularly with the product team and third‑party integration partners.
  • Represent Genetec at tradeshows and lead or support regional/national end user groups to deepen customer engagement and insight.
  • Coordinate account planning and alignment with channel partners, PAEs, sales engineers, SMEs, and the Genetec partner team to meet customer goals and minimize conflict.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM activity, accurate forecasting, and timely use of internal systems and HR processes.
  • Continuously expand product and industry knowledge through training and internal resources.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of operations, compliance requirements, and workflows within Mobility and Transit agencies.
  • Established relationships and networks within the Mobility and Transit vertical.
  • Proven ability to sell to committees and navigate complex, hierarchical public sector procurement processes.
  • Deep knowledge of public sector procurement processes, requirements, and vertical‑specific trends.
  • Strong understanding of how Genetec products align with end user operations and workflows; comprehensive knowledge of the Genetec platform as it relates to Mobility and Transit.
  • Familiarity with vertical‑specific tradeshows, associations, and publications.
  • Ability to anticipate product and market needs based on vertical trends and to influence product direction.
  • Exceptional time management, territory planning skills, and ability to perform in roles requiring significant travel.
  • Discipline with CRM management and forecasting accuracy (experience with CRM systems preferred).
