Description

  • Act as a Citrix escalation point for the internal engineering team.
  • Advise on Citrix CVAD architecture and design.
  • Review and recommend changes to NetScaler (Citrix ADC) configurations.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Citrix Workspace/Receiver, and Citrix ADC components.
  • Support troubleshooting for profile management, FSLogix, Citrix Cloud, Active Directory integration, and Azure/AWS deployments.
  • Provide best practices and documentation to help the engineering team become more self-sufficient.
  • Participate in remote working sessions with engineers via Teams.
  • Occasionally assist with after-hours or maintenance window work.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • 7+ years of experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
  • Strong experience with Citrix ADC / NetScaler.
  • Experience with StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Citrix Gateway, load balancing, SSL certificates, and MFA integrations such as Duo or Azure MFA.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure.
  • Experience with FSLogix or Citrix Profile Management.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance, logon, printing, and profile issues.
  • Ability to document solutions and explain decisions to other engineers.
  • Preferred experience working for a Managed Services Provider or consulting firm.
  • Preferred ability to serve as an advisor and teacher, not just a hands-on implementer.
  • Preferred ability to quickly diagnose complex Citrix environments.
  • Preferred Microsoft Exchange on-premises experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while joining calls as needed.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $100–$250 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
  • Final rate varies based on experience, certifications, and scope of engagement.
