Description

  • Design and build high-performance trading systems for market data ingestion, order routing, and execution.
  • Develop cross-cutting technical solutions for OTC, market making, prop trading, and systematic trading teams.
  • Optimize performance across the application, operating system, network, and hardware layers to minimize latency and maximize throughput.
  • Own issues independently and drive them through to resolution.
  • Apply AI tools and automation platforms to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality.
  • Collaborate in a high-performance environment focused on deterministic behavior in critical trading workflows.

Requirements

  • Excellent core Java skills.
  • Extensive experience optimizing Java applications and garbage collection.
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming.
  • Experience developing low-latency pricing and trading systems.
  • Knowledge of low-latency messaging technologies such as Aeron or 29West.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/UDP, multicast, routing, switching, and congestion control.
  • Experience with kernel bypass technologies such as DPDK, Solarflare/OpenOnload, or RDMA.
  • Familiarity with Linux internals, including scheduling, memory management, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with C++ in similar low-latency environments will be considered.
  • Bonus points for eFX development in a low-latency, zero-GC environment.
  • Bonus points for knowledge of institutional encodings such as FIX and SBE.
  • Bonus points for experience with fault-tolerant, high-availability distributed computing.
  • Bonus points for Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS experience.
