Description

  • Own Okta as the core identity and access management platform, including SSO integrations, policy management, directory hygiene, and breakglass access.
  • Run day-to-day identity operations and keep joiner, mover, and leaver flows accurate from the HR system.
  • Automate provisioning and deprovisioning using workflows and access configuration as code.
  • Build and maintain identity automations with tools such as Okta Workflows and n8n.
  • Structure, document, and standardize access request, approval, and review processes.
  • Own internal IT systems end to end, including SaaS administration and Google Workspace.
  • Integrate, secure, and validate the SaaS stack and connect tools through Okta and the HR system.
  • Implement access controls and evidence collection for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 audits.
  • Partner on endpoint and device management across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
  • Support adjacent systems work as needed within a small, growing IT team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems, identity, or access engineering.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Okta or a comparable identity provider.
  • Experience with SSO, SCIM, lifecycle automation, and API-driven provisioning.
  • Ability to build automation with Okta Workflows, n8n, or similar tools.
  • Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and scripting in Python or a comparable language.
  • Experience running and integrating a SaaS-based environment.
  • Hands-on Google Workspace administration experience.
  • Experience working within ISO 27001 or SOC 2, ideally SOC 2 Type 2.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote team and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort wearing multiple hats in a small IT team and handling adjacent systems and endpoint work.
  • Experience managing configuration through Git-based workflows or Terraform is a plus.
  • Professional proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada, France, Germany, Spain, or the United Kingdom.
  • Background check required.
