Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance back-end systems, APIs, and databases for web and mobile applications.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and efficient server-side solutions that support high transaction volumes and fintech standards.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated features and services.
  • Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance across backend services.
  • Implement code quality practices, testing, code reviews, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Help foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Stay current on backend development, blockchain, and fintech trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of back-end development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Hands-on experience with Node, Express, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Nest.js.
  • Strong experience with SQL and exposure to NoSQL is nice to have.
  • Experience with microservices and event-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with caching and messaging queues such as Kafka.
  • Experience using Postman and Git or Bitbucket.
  • Prior experience working in a startup and taking a product from zero to one is a bonus.
  • Experience in financial markets or brokerages is a bonus.
