Description

  • Process London Market insurance underwriting data in line with procedure guides.
  • Review insurance slips and supporting documents to extract key policy information.
  • Record underwriting and policy data accurately in the Policy Administration System (PAS).
  • Analyse technical data and calculate transaction details including limits, premiums, and deductions.
  • Manage internal and external queries to support accurate and efficient data processing.
  • Apply taxes and deductions correctly during risk and endorsement processing.
  • Perform premium calculations, including pro-rating against policy periods and calculating premiums from schedules.
  • Work to benchmark standards, accuracy targets, and contractual SLAs.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of London Market insurance terminology.
  • Ability to read and interpret slips and endorsements across all lines of business.
  • Working knowledge of standard market practice for processing risks and endorsements into a PAS system.
  • Prior experience in a risk capture, technical processing, or policy administration role within the Lloyd's/London Market.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort working to contractual SLAs.
  • Experience supporting accurate insurance underwriting data processing (preferred).
