Description

  • Take ownership of the production codebase and continue building the product end to end.
  • Set the technical direction and lead execution across product and engineering.
  • Harden the voice and workflow systems for in-production reliability.
  • Establish architecture, observability, and audit-trail standards.
  • Build internal infrastructure to configure, monitor, and optimize agent performance.
  • Develop and mature the workflow engine so calls, intent classification, and next actions flow reliably.
  • Own accounting and ERP integrations, including QuickBooks, Xero, and additional systems.
  • Manage the trade-offs between AI quality and cost per call and maintain unit economics.
  • Represent the company to finance leaders, partners, and investors as the technical voice.
  • Recruit and lead the founding engineering team.

Requirements

  • Shipped LLM-powered and voice systems into production where incorrect outputs carried real consequences.
  • Full-stack confidence across applied LLMs, real-time voice and conversational AI, telephony, human-in-the-loop workflows, observability, and secure multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Strong judgment on reliability engineering, edge-case management, and AI quality versus cost-per-call trade-offs.
  • Experience building managed or service-heavy platforms and scaling delivery without scaling engineering headcount.
  • Prepared to operate as a principal and to challenge product readiness when needed.
  • Hands-on builder who still writes code and ships closely with the product.
  • Finance, accounting, or FinOps background, with understanding of AR, DSO, aging, and disputes.
  • Based in Los Angeles or the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate.
  • Pragmatic, creative, strategic, and hands-on in equal measure.
  • Willing and able to help close early customer partnerships.
  • Active social media presence for founder-led distribution is a plus.
