Description

  • Write the first lines of production code and set the technical direction for the company.
  • Establish the core architecture, engineering culture, and security posture, including SOC 2 readiness, tenant isolation, encryption, and audit logging.
  • Build and ship the marketing review prototype into production with an early design partner.
  • Deliver communications surveillance, trading oversight, audit-ready logs, and reporting capabilities.
  • Release a GA v1 covering all core modules except regulatory filings within 9 months.
  • Expand the platform into regulatory filings and enterprise integrations within 18 months.
  • Own the training and ongoing evolution of the core AI/LLM model.
  • Own the explainability layer that generates audit-ready evidence on demand.
  • Represent the company to customers, investors, and other external stakeholders as the technical voice of the venture.
  • Recruit and lead the founding engineering and applied AI team.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping LLM-powered systems into production where incorrect outputs carried real consequences.
  • Full-stack experience with applied LLMs, RAG, retrieval, deterministic rules engines, human-in-the-loop workflows, observability, and secure multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Production experience developing explainability and reliability engineering for real-world systems.
  • Ability to operate at a principal level, making decisive technical calls under uncertainty and owning outcomes.
  • Strong preference for prior founder, founding engineer, or early-stage technical leadership experience.
  • Preferred background in legal tech, RegTech, fintech compliance, healthcare, or another high-trust regulated vertical.
  • Preferred familiarity with the U.S. wealth management ecosystem, including SEC and FINRA workflows, marketing review, communications surveillance, and trade monitoring.
  • Preferred direct experience self-hosting or privately deploying foundation models.
  • Willingness to take on a true co-founder role with founder-level ownership and authority.
  • Resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief note explaining why the venture aligns with your goals as a founder.
