Description

  • Set the venture’s strategy, including the ideal customer profile, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with compliance and revenue cycle leaders and converting them into paid engagements.
  • Build the go-to-market motion for Clairo’s pre-billing compliance product.
  • Partner with the product and engineering team to ship the first version of the product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team while establishing the company’s culture.
  • Operate as the CEO in a true co-creation model with the FutureSight studio team.
  • Work with studio resources across design, engineering, growth, and fundraising to bring the venture to market.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, including the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Deep operational experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or denial management.
  • Strong understanding of the differences between clinical or coding denials and administrative roadblocks.
  • Familiarity with fragmented EHR and practice management systems used by smaller healthcare organizations.
  • Understanding of the practical workflows and tool stacks used by billers to manage denials and billing operations.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
