Description

  • Set the strategic direction for BidOps, including ICP, pricing, and product positioning across the AEC market.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with mid-market AEC firms and converting them into paid engagements.
  • Build the go-to-market motion through AEC networks, marketing associations, and industry partnerships.
  • Partner with the product and engineering team to ship the first version of the platform and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Guide product priorities around compliance extraction, semantic mapping, and SME workflows.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and traction.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead the founding team.
  • Establish the company’s cultural foundation and operating cadence.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency with the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Direct exposure to AEC, government contracting, proposal management, or B2B SaaS for professional services.
  • Familiarity with AI agents and LLMs.
  • Ability to apply for a co-founder partnership rather than a salaried executive role.
  • Willingness to share in meaningful founder equity from inception.
