Description

  • Contribute to research, evaluation, and training work at the frontier of AI epistemics.
  • Design evaluations and benchmarks for forecasting and AI systems.
  • Build internal automations and tooling, including LLM-based workflows.
  • Develop artifacts such as datasets, analyses, programs, or tools that produce measurable results.
  • Take on unfamiliar work as the frontier evolves and adapt quickly to new problems.
  • Collaborate with frontier labs on research and evaluation efforts.
  • Use data and quantitative analysis to inform decisions and outputs.
  • Own work end-to-end and bring proposed solutions when raising problems.
  • Support team priorities with a high degree of initiative and accountability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated work product rather than formal titles.
  • A proven track record and strong interest in AI.
  • Ability to show concrete artifacts such as forecasts, benchmarks, datasets, analyses, programs, or tools.
  • Comfort working with data and numbers.
  • Ability to work independently and step up when work is unassigned or the responsible person is unavailable.
  • Meticulousness under pressure and in fast-moving situations.
  • Eagerness to use AI to expand beyond your current title or background.
  • Preference for candidates whose work produces tangible outputs over coordination-only roles.
  • Experience with careful public predictions or forecasting work is a plus.
  • Experience building tools, running programs, or creating analyses that others rely on is a plus.
