Description

  • Design and implement the Auto-Moderation Service and other AI-driven features for the Open Platform (Ember).
  • Architect and embed intelligent agents and automated decision-making into the platform’s core architecture.
  • Develop and integrate AI services with the platform via REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
  • Own model selection, evaluation (EVALs), LLMOps practices, and ongoing performance monitoring for deployed models.
  • Design autonomous agent architectures, including agent memory, task performance, and strict safety guardrails.
  • Build process automation solutions and orchestrations using workflow tools (e.g., Temporal.io, n8n) or custom scripting to connect models to business logic.
  • Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Full Stack Developers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate team and personal workflows, and promote adoption of AI tooling to improve efficiency.
  • Coach and share knowledge with colleagues, maintaining a customer-centric mindset and empathy for end users.

Requirements

  • Mid-to-Senior level experience in a relevant technical role (Automation, Software Engineering, AI/ML Engineering).
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to production problems, specifically NLP, LLMs, embeddings, and RAG.
  • Practical knowledge of LLMOps and EVALs frameworks for model selection, QA, and monitoring.
  • Expertise in designing autonomous/agentic systems, including agent memory and safety guardrails.
  • Familiarity with agent/automation frameworks such as CrewAI, Google Gen AI/ADK, or LangGraph (preferred).
  • Experience designing and implementing automation workflows using Temporal.io, n8n, or equivalent orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in Python for AI/ML services and TypeScript/Node.js for integration (experience with Go, Java, PHP also valued).
  • Strong software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD principles, automated testing, and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Ability to integrate AI services into modern web architectures (REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices).
  • Comfort identifying and using personal AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, Bolt) to improve efficiency.
  • Role is UK-based and remote (applicants should be able to work from the UK).
