Description

  • Partner with the co-founders to launch, lead, and manage local operations in China.
  • Develop and manage the strategic supplier and purchasing footprint in China.
  • Secure factory capacity and optimize BOM costs with top-tier manufacturing partners.
  • Negotiate directly with OEMs, ODMs, and critical hardware manufacturers across the clean energy ecosystem.
  • Enforce quality standards and track performance across multiple external factories.
  • Audit partner production lines to ensure consistent manufacturing quality.
  • Assemble and lead a local team to scale regional operations and supply chain infrastructure.
  • Serve as the real-time communication link between Chinese manufacturing partners and the UK teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Proven track record in complex supply chains, strategic procurement, or sourcing within clean energy or a highly technical hardware industry such as automotive, advanced electronics, or semiconductors.
  • Written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Experience managing multiple Tier-1 suppliers simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce stringent quality standards and deliver under compressed timelines.
  • A relentless, first-principles approach to solving ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
