Description

  • Lead a team of 3-5 fullstack developers.
  • Write and review code, with most time focused on leadership and management.
  • Ensure the team follows company processes and engineering guidelines.
  • Own delivery of features and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Make technical decisions and prepare technical designs for new features.
  • Align technical plans with neighboring teams and the manager.
  • Manage technical debt and maintain the team’s technical backlog.
  • Mentor engineers through regular 1:1s, onboarding, and development support.
  • Conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager.
  • Experience managing a team of 3-5 developers.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to write code and make sound technical decisions.
  • Strong people management skills, including hiring, coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product companies using TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
  • Experience with fast-growing companies or startups is a plus.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
  • Experience working with the listed stack is required: Node.js, Preact, TypeScript, MongoDB, Cloudflare Workers, and Kafka.
