Description

Lead a team of 5–8 fullstack developers.
Write and review code, with a management-heavy split of approximately 70/30.
Ensure the team follows company processes and engineering guidelines.
Own feature delivery and ensure deadlines are met.
Make technical decisions and prepare technical designs for new features.
Align technical plans with neighboring teams and the manager.
Manage technical debt and maintain the team’s technical backlog.
Mentor engineers, hold regular 1:1s, and support team development.
Onboard new team members.
Conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

10+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager.
Experience managing a team of 5–10 developers.
Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to write code and make technical decisions.
Strong system design and technical architecture skills.
Strong people management skills, including hiring, coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
At least 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
At least 5 years of experience in product companies using TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
Experience working in fast-growing companies or startups is a plus.
English proficiency at B2+ level.
Russian-speaking team context; ability to work in an English-speaking environment is required.
