Description

  • Build and lead the Lab function while personally owning 1–2 high-leverage product bets.
  • Own the Lab bet portfolio, including opportunity sizing, entry and exit criteria, and scale/iterate/kill decisions.
  • Design experiments around the riskiest assumptions and choose the appropriate prototype, spike, wizard-of-oz, no-code, or pilot approach.
  • Synthesize experiment results into clear recommendations and make explicit investment decisions.
  • Prepare handoff packages with validated hypotheses, evidence, risks, and scaling models for bets that are ready to graduate.
  • Source and close lighthouse pilots with defined scope, metrics, and off-ramps, and work with partners to validate demand.
  • Build repeatable Lab operating processes such as pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, and evaluation of AI-enabled product ideas.
  • Publish decision memos and share failed experiments openly to increase transparency and learning velocity.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product experience with a proven 0→1 track record.
  • Experience personally owning multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing PMs in a player-coach or group lead capacity.
  • Fluency with validation tools such as discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs, and knowing when each is appropriate.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across Engineering, Design, Analytics, and GTM, including comfort in pre-sales and pilot settings.
  • Experience in environments where learning speed mattered more than polish and where downside risk was real.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a product-building and exploration tool.
  • Ability to prototype with LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling and ship a functional prototype quickly.
  • Ability to scope AI experiments realistically and judge feasibility without full engineering validation.
  • Ability to evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Background often found in founder or co-founder roles, early-stage startups, internal labs/innovation teams, or new market bets inside larger companies.
  • Preferred: ex-founder with a clear ship/scale/kill story and measurable outcomes.
  • Preferred: experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or nonprofit domains.
  • Preferred: familiarity with the EU market, including PSD2/SCA and data/privacy norms.
  • Preferred: additional languages beyond English and Russian.
  • Must be fluent in English and Russian.
  • Must be based in Spain and able to work remote with core hours of 9:00–18:00 CET.
