Description

  • Teach selected lessons in line with learning objectives and provided session plans.
  • Lead live online classes in a fully interactive virtual format.
  • Use adult-learning strategies, instructional best practices, and real-world examples to support understanding.
  • Maintain regular communication with students about progress, expectations, milestones, and concerns.
  • Provide individualized support during live sessions, office hours, and asynchronous communication.
  • Evaluate student performance and progression using course deliverables and rubrics.
  • Give constructive, timely feedback on student work and performance.
  • Support Performance Action Plans for students who need additional help.
  • Model professionalism, ethics, and empathy in interactions with students, staff, and the public.
  • Promote student retention and satisfaction by fostering a positive classroom culture and sharing relevant resources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Experience developing and deploying models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, support vector machines, decision trees, and reinforcement learning.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in probability theory, linear algebra, optimization, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience across the full ML lifecycle, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Proficiency with ML tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
  • Working knowledge of big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop is optional but preferred.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including data cleaning and exploratory data analysis.
  • Previous teaching or mentoring experience, ideally in an online learning environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex AI/ML topics for learners at different skill levels.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and empathy in learner and team interactions.

Benefits

  • Expected compensation of $50 - $55 per hour for candidates who meet the listed qualifications.
  • Final compensation is based on experience, skillset, and program fit.
