Description

  • Conduct live, instructor-led online training sessions.
  • Deliver coding demos, assisted practice, and project-based instruction.
  • Address learner questions and support learner engagement during classes.
  • Teach NLP topics including text preprocessing, feature engineering, vectorization, sentiment analysis, word embeddings, sequence models, and transformers.
  • Teach audio analytics and speech topics including audio processing, feature extraction, DSP, speech recognition, transfer learning, and audio synthesis.
  • Prepare for scheduled teaching sessions and deliver classes within the assigned weekday or weekend time slots.
  • Support training delivery for both first cohorts and future cohorts, including content revisions when needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in NLP and/or Audio Analytics.
  • Strong Python skills and machine learning/deep learning expertise.
  • Prior experience delivering online or classroom training.
  • Knowledge of NLP fundamentals, tools, and libraries such as NLTK.
  • Experience with text preprocessing, feature engineering, visualization, and text vectorization methods such as One-Hot, BoW, and TF-IDF.
  • Experience with sentiment analysis using Naive Bayes.
  • Knowledge of word embeddings such as Word2Vec and GloVe.
  • Familiarity with machine translation and document search methods such as TF-IDF and BM25.
  • Understanding of sequence models including RNNs, attention models, Transformers, BERT, and GPT.
  • Experience with audio processing tools such as Librosa and PyDub.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing, MFCCs, and audio feature extraction.
  • Experience with deep learning for speech recognition, transfer learning for speech models, and audio synthesis or music generation using GANs.
  • Availability for an 8-12 hour weekly part-time commitment.
  • Ability to teach weekday sessions from 06:30 PM CST to 09:30 PM CST and/or weekend sessions from 09:00 AM CST to 12:00 PM CST.
