Description

  • Partner with Product, Design, Data, Finance, Operations, and engineering teams to translate business opportunities into technical solutions.
  • Architect and develop new features across backend and frontend systems.
  • Work across the stack to deliver maintainable, observable, and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to solution design, rollout planning, and measurement of business impact.
  • Write high-quality code and drive technical improvements while maintaining strong quality standards.
  • Review pull requests and mentor other developers to raise code quality and team effectiveness.
  • Help shape team culture through ownership, collaboration, and sound technical judgment.
  • Scope, plan, and implement projects with front-end and back-end developers.
  • Help create structure and delivery direction in an ambiguous or evolving team environment.

Requirements

  • Strong fullstack software engineering experience building high-quality, maintainable systems and product experiences.
  • Experience with the company’s tech stack or similar technologies, including backend services and user-facing product development.
  • Comfort working with APIs and application layers such as GraphQL.
  • Experience writing automated tests and understanding their role in safe, continuous delivery.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguity and help create structure in a new or evolving team.
  • Comfort taking ownership beyond implementation, including technical direction, delivery strategy, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Highly data-driven decision-making using metrics such as conversion, average order value, and revenue growth.
  • Clear communication and strong collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in health tech or other trust-sensitive domains is a plus.
  • Experience scaling or working on high-scale web applications is a plus.
