Description

  • Own the internationalization and localization frameworks that keep products working across different markets.
  • Configure localization tools and build automated translation pipelines to support international expansion.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack tooling using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to monitor operational health and localization trends.
  • Work within GitHub Actions-based CI and testing workflows to maintain localized product experiences.
  • Use Ember.js to support product localization efforts.
  • Leverage UNIX systems, Terraform, and Kubernetes to support the cloud infrastructure behind the localization platform.
  • Use Python and Bash scripting, along with AI-driven translation services and LLMs, to improve translation efficiency and accuracy.
  • Own end-to-end bug triage and prioritization, and lead investigations through to resolution.
  • Collaborate with non-technical teammates and stakeholders to support localization operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software localization and internationalization.
  • 3+ years of proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify patterns in complex data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for supporting non-technical team members and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including Terraform and Kubernetes, is preferred.
  • Experience with UNIX scripting, including Python and Bash, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ember.js, GitHub Actions, and LLM/AI-driven translation services is preferred.
