Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain internal tools, integrations, and solutions that improve efficiency across Fullscript's technical stack.
  • Build and maintain integrations and APIs that support secure data transfer between systems.
  • Work with business partners to apply technology and AI to solutions that improve efficiency or customer experience.
  • Develop scalable applications that support the growing needs of the business.
  • Review pull requests and mentor teammates while advocating for high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Own features end to end, including building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining them.
  • Scope and plan projects with stakeholders and other developers to implement them.
  • Contribute to and own high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions clearly.
  • Reduce manual work by automating workflows and solving operational problems.
  • Take on other duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements

  • Experience building RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails or object-oriented programming.
  • Experience working with JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, AngularJS, or Next.
  • Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and CSS preprocessors.
  • Ability to write tests and understand their value.
  • Understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.
  • A passion for software development, strong craft, and interest in learning and leading projects.
  • Willingness to learn and remain open to feedback.
  • Experience designing reliable, maintainable systems that can grow with the business (preferred by role context).
