Description

  • Lead a cross-functional Patient Experience team and set technical direction in a complex product domain.
  • Contribute hands-on through system design, coding, code reviews, prototyping, and solving difficult technical problems.
  • Evolve architecture and lead design discussions across product, engineering, data, and clinical considerations.
  • Build systems that combine clinical data, behavioral signals, and patient context.
  • Make tradeoffs across speed, quality, reliability, safety, and trust.
  • Coach and develop engineers through pairing, feedback, technical debate, and collaboration.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Clinical, Data, and Engineering leaders across Fullscript.
  • Champion patient trust, practitioner workflows, and long-term system health in technical and product decisions.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and leading software products end-to-end, from concept through scaled operation.
  • Multiple years of engineering management experience while remaining technically hands-on.
  • Track record of solving difficult technical problems with meaningful product and user impact.
  • Experience operating high-scale applications with emphasis on reliability, performance, maintainability, and trust.
  • Strong technical judgment and ability to connect engineering decisions to user experience.
  • Strong product instincts and experience working across engineering leadership and implementation.
  • Deep experience building successful consumer-facing web or mobile products focused on engagement, retention, usability, and quality.
  • Experience creating personalized, context-aware consumer experiences that encourage sustained engagement.
  • Fluency with modern AI-assisted engineering workflows and tools.
  • Experience with React, React Native, Rails, GraphQL, or Apollo preferred; experience in regulated, safety-sensitive, or high-trust domains is a bonus.
