Description

  • Build and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) in Sabre.
  • Price itineraries using fare tools and stored price quotes to confirm the correct fare before issuing.
  • Issue electronic tickets across different Pseudo City Codes (PCCs).
  • Process ticket exchanges and reissues, including fare differences and applicable change fees.
  • Handle ticket voids and refunds in accordance with airline rules and strict timing windows.
  • Work Sabre queues throughout the shift and keep new tasks from sitting unacknowledged for more than 30 minutes.
  • Monitor active holds and alert the Team Lead to anything expiring within 3 hours.
  • Verify all passenger and fare details before issuing tickets.
  • Confirm ticket numbers, fare details, and cancellation conditions are recorded correctly after issuance.
  • Coordinate with Client Service and Trip Fulfillment teams, and escalate errors or VIP issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Sabre GDS proficiency and confidence working independently in Sabre's command-line environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Sabre ticketing experience in a travel agency, airline, tour operator, or travel management company.
  • Strong understanding of fare rules and how to apply them when issuing, changing, or refunding tickets.
  • High attention to passenger data accuracy, including names, dates of birth, and frequent flyer numbers.
  • Ability to work at a consistent pace while maintaining accuracy during busy periods.
  • Proactive communication and willingness to flag issues early to a Team Lead.
  • Experience with award or points-redemption ticketing in Sabre, such as airline miles or bank loyalty program bookings, preferred.
  • Background in luxury hospitality or high-end travel service, preferred.
  • Familiarity with task management tools or booking record systems, preferred.
  • Genuine interest in frequent flyer programs and airline loyalty points, preferred.
